Aamu alkoi pentujen ulkoilutuksella. Pennut söivät ulkona ja jäivät ulos aikuisten koirien kanssa minun siivoillessani sisällä. Kun kaikki vuorollaan nukahtivat portaille, nostelin pennut sisälle unia jatkamaan.
Iltapäivällä piipahdin kotona paimennuksen jälkeen ennen juhlia. Päästin pennut alakertaan valloilleen. Osa jopa oli tulossa kanssani suihkuun. Kun olimme lähdössä, nostelin pennut pentuaitaukseen. Ja siitäkös huuto alkoi! Pennut ovat jo päässeet vapauden makuun...
Illalla pennut pääsivät vihdoinkin nauttimaan vapaudesta sekä ulkona että sisällä. Pennut myös ottivat vapaudesta kaiken irti: ne juoksivat ja leikkivät ympäriinsä hirmuista kyytiä.
Päivän uusi juttu oli lenkille mukaan lähteminen pentumobiilin kyydissä. Pentumobiili on siis kaksi kuljetusboksia kiinnitettynä vanhojen lastenrattaiden päälle. Tosi näppärä apu pentujen kanssa. Pennut olivat metsässä superreippaita. Ne liikkuivat ympäriinsä ja alkoivat lähes välittömästi leikkimään risuilla ja kävyillä. Aivan kuin ne olisivat asuneet metsässä koko ikänsä!

The day started with little time outside. When I'm being fast enough, almost all waste products are delivered outside. But being fast enough with eight pups, that's a challenge. Pups stayed outside with adult dogs for a while when I was cleaning the puppy den. They ate outside as well. When the pups fell asleep close to the door, I carried them in.
In the afternoon I came home after herding and before a party I went to. The pups got out of the puppy den and played around downstairs. Some of the pups almost got to the shower with me, but not quite. After putting the pups back to the puppy den, screaming started. Yeah, they have had too much freedom already.
After the party the pups had the chance to enjoy their freedom. We spent time outside and after that they had all downstairs to themselves. And they really enjoyed their freedom alright, running around and playing. Such a nice thing to look at! Funny little ones!
The new for today was a short walk in the "puppy mobile" and the first visit to the forest. The puppy mobile is two carrying boxes loaded on an old baby carriage. And it works very well. The pups were very brave in the forest. They started moving around and playing with sticks and cones almost instantly, like they had lived in forest forever.
